Replay Trading vs. Live Paper Trading
Both let you trade with virtual money. The difference is the clock. Replay trading uses a past session, so you can practice whenever you want and repeat the same kind of setup across different days. Live paper trading follows the current market and moves only when the market is open.
Replay is useful for focused repetition. Live paper trading is useful for practicing your routine in real time. Neither can fully reproduce slippage, fees, fills, or the emotional pressure of trading real money, and simulated results do not guarantee live results.
